Boy Scout Ben DiBuduo meets with the Eastside Board of Directors in May 2013 to present his completed Eagle Scout Project.
In 2013, Benjamin DiBuduo completed his Eagle Scout Project at Eastside Cemetery. With help from his fellow scouts in Boy Scout Troop 63, Ben mapped out the old section of the cemetery and placed metal tags to number each gravestone. Using historic records, including inscriptions compiled in the 1930s for the Hale Collection, Ben created a document listing all known information for each gravestone and pinpointed each on a detailed map. Below are photographs taken shortly after the completion of Ben's project, showing each gravestone with it's numbered tag.
